Rhubarb dessert  大黃甜品

There are some fruits and vegetables that Asians are not very familiar with, and one of them is edible rhubarb. This kind of fruit and vegetable is generally used as medicine in China, but most Danes 🇩🇰 like to eat it and use it to make desserts. In this video I will show you how the Danes 🇩🇰 use Rhabarber to make candied fruits and cup desserts. Many Danes make their own rhubarb candies at home. It is sweet and sour and very delicious, especially in spring and early summer. Eating this fruit, rhubarb, helps gastrointestinal digestion and removes internal heat.

Rhubarb dessert

RECIPE: (For 4 people)

1 kg rhubarb
1 l water
2 dl sugar
vanilla sugar
2-4tbsp potato flour

How to make it:

Rinse the rhubarb and cut off the leaves.

Cut the stems into small pieces. Put them in the pot with the water, and cook them over

steady heat for 20 minutes.

Strain the stems and pour the soup back into the pot.

Add sugar. Stir the potato flour into cold water, and pour it all into the

boiling soup. Pour the porridge into bowls and sprinkle a little sugar on top, – so

the porridge doesn’t get a skin.

Let the porridge cool and serve it later with milk/cream.
